When he was 8, his first club was FC Andorinha. He was observed by the Sporting Club thanks to that Cristiano had integrated this club at 11 years old. He stayed 6 seasons in the Sporting Club. During a match, Sporting Club vs Manchester, the Sporting won 3-1 thanks to an incredible game of Cristiano Ronaldo. Then Manchester United drafted him. His first international selection was in 2003, when he joigned Manchester United.
